Terms of service

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. Parties and purpose

These terms govern access to and use of CitedIn, a cloud service that measures how visible a website is on Google and in AI assistants, diagnoses what to fix, and prepares changes (GitHub pull requests, WordPress drafts and texts for other sites) for the site’s owner to review and approve (the "Service").

The Service is provided by Pablo Bravo Villanueva, with tax ID (NIF) 12436687N and registered office at Calle Linares 30, 4º D, 47010 Valladolid, Spain ("CitedIn"). The company or professional that uses the Service with an account is the "Customer".

The Service is intended only for businesses and professionals. By using it, the Customer declares that it is acting in the course of its business or profession and that the person using the account is authorized to bind it.

The privacy policy explains how CitedIn processes personal data.

2. Early access

CitedIn is in early access. Accounts are created by invitation only and the Service is provided free of charge during this phase. These terms do not set any price. If CitedIn offers paid plans in the future, their prices and conditions will be presented separately and will only apply if the Customer accepts them; nothing will be charged without that acceptance.

3. Account and sign-in

The Customer signs in with a one-time code sent to its email address. It is responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure and for everything done from its account. If it suspects unauthorized access, it must notify CitedIn as soon as possible at info@viaondo.com.

4. What the Service does, and what it does not promise

The Service crawls the public pages of the Customer’s sites, samples the answers of search engines and AI assistants, audits the sites, and prepares changes with the source each claim relies on. AI answers vary from one sample to the next, so the Service reports visibility as rates with their margin of error, not as certainties.

CitedIn does not guarantee any ranking, traffic, citation or inclusion in any search engine or AI assistant. Those results depend on third parties that CitedIn does not control.

5. Connected services and the Customer’s approval

The Customer may connect services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, GitHub and WordPress. By connecting them, it authorizes CitedIn to access them within the permissions it grants, only to provide the Service. The Customer must have the right to authorize that access for every site, property, repository and account it connects. Each connected service remains governed by its own terms.

Nothing is published to the Customer’s site without a person’s approval. Merging a pull request or pressing Publish in WordPress is the Customer’s approval of that change, and the Customer is responsible for reviewing it before approving it. If the Customer switches on automatic application for a category of mechanical, reversible changes (such as titles and meta descriptions), it approves in advance the changes of that category, and it can switch it off at any time. Texts meant for other websites are prepared as drafts for the Customer to send; CitedIn never sends them.

6. Acceptable use

The Customer undertakes to use the Service lawfully and, in particular:

  • to add only sites that it owns or is authorized to manage;
  • not to use the Service to publish content that is unlawful, misleading or defamatory, that infringes third-party rights or that contains harmful code;
  • not to use the Service to send unsolicited communications or to manipulate search engines or AI assistants against their published rules;
  • not to try to access other customers’ data, circumvent security measures or usage limits, or carry out load or vulnerability testing without CitedIn’s prior written permission;
  • not to resell or transfer access to the Service to third parties without CitedIn’s authorization.

If the Customer seriously breaches this clause, CitedIn may suspend access, notifying the Customer whenever possible.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Customer keeps all rights to its sites, its content and its data. It grants CitedIn a non-exclusive, royalty-free license, limited to the term of the contract, to host, copy and process that content only to the extent needed to provide the Service.

The Customer may freely use the changes and texts the Service prepares for it once it approves them. AI-written text is linked to the sources it relies on, and text without a source is flagged and cannot be approved, but the Customer remains responsible for checking that what it publishes is accurate.

The software, design, trademarks and documentation of the Service belong to CitedIn or its licensors. These terms only grant the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for the term of the contract.

8. Availability and support

CitedIn uses reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and working properly, but during early access the Service is provided as is, without a service level agreement (SLA) or any guaranteed availability. There may be interruptions for maintenance, updates or causes beyond CitedIn’s control, including outages of connected services and data providers.

CitedIn may improve, change or remove features of the Service. Support is provided by email at info@viaondo.com.

9. Data protection

CitedIn processes the account data of the Customer’s users, and the data it receives from connected services, as described in its privacy policy. Where the public pages of the Customer’s sites contain personal data, CitedIn processes that content only to provide the Service on the Customer’s instructions.

10. Limitation of liability

CitedIn is liable for direct damage it causes by breaching these terms, subject to the following limits:

  • CitedIn is not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, clients or reputation, or indirect damage;
  • CitedIn is not liable for changes in rankings, traffic or AI citations, for changes the Customer approved, merged or published, or for those applied automatically in categories the Customer switched on;
  • CitedIn is not liable for failures of connected services or of third-party data providers;
  • CitedIn’s total liability to the Customer is limited to the amount the Customer has paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it.

These limits do not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, or in any other case where the law does not allow liability to be limited.

The Customer will hold CitedIn harmless against third-party claims arising from the Customer’s content, from sites or accounts it connected without the right to do so, or from a breach of clause 6.

11. Term, termination and data

The contract starts when the Customer first uses its account and lasts until the account is deleted.

The Customer may stop using the Service at any time, disconnect any connected service in Settings → Connections, and ask CitedIn to delete its account by writing to info@viaondo.com. CitedIn deletes the Customer’s data within 30 days of the request, except for data it must keep by law.

CitedIn may terminate the contract by giving at least 30 days’ notice, including when early access ends, or immediately if the Customer seriously breaches these terms. During the notice period the Customer can ask for a copy of its data.

Pull requests, drafts and other changes already delivered to the Customer’s repositories or WordPress sites stay there after the contract ends; the Customer decides whether to keep, merge or delete them.

12. Changes and notices

CitedIn may change these terms to reflect changes in the Service or in the law. If the change is significant, it will give at least 30 days’ notice by email. If the Customer does not agree, it may stop using the Service before the change applies; if it keeps using the Service afterwards, it is deemed to accept it.

Notices between the parties will be sent by email: to the address of the Customer’s account and, in CitedIn’s case, to info@viaondo.com.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the city where CitedIn has its registered office, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
